Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly oil it.
- Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut in thin fries about 1/4 inch thick or you can make them any size you want.
- Soak the fries in cold water for around 30 minutes but can be soaked for longer. This will remove excess starch and make them more crispy
- Dry the fries thoroughly and toss them in olive oil and salt or if you have any other seasonings you would like to put on them.
- Spread the fries in a single layer on the baking sheet. Avoid crowding or overlapping
- Bake for 20 minutes. Flip the fries and bake for another 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
To reheat them toss them on parchment paper in the oven for 5-10 minutes to crisp them back up. Make sure to watch them so they don't burn.
